About Reiki
Reiki is an ancient Japanese relaxation technique that gently works to align your body, mind, and spirit. About Meditation
In its most basic definition meditation is the stillness of the mind. If from the time you wake up until the time you go to sleep your conscious mind is continuously making decisions, running errands, working, exercising, and so on, it takes a toll on your well-being. Give yourself and your mind the peacefulness, stillness, and simplicity of meditation.
It's natural when first beginning to meditate for your mind to go in every direction possible, but simply acknowledge your thought, and then go back to only paying attention to your breath. Breathing is probably the most natural thing our bodies do for us and meditation teaches us to pay attention to how we breathe. Full breathes in AND out help high blood pressure, anxiety, and sharpen memory and mind. Even just five or ten minutes of meditation a day will leave you feeling refreshed and make your time to work and be active even more productive with a fresh, centered outlook.
